On-tap at Stateline Brewery, South Lake Tahoe, CA
A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a thin head covering the surface and a thick coating of bubbles clinging to the slides of the glass.
S: Faint aromas of habanero peppers are present in the nose.
T: The taste starts off with flavors of wheat and finishes with a spicy kick of habanero peppers.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The chili peppers lend heat to the finish of the mouthfeel.
O: This witbier isn't overly hot for a beer brewed with chili peppers but it definitely has a spicy kick of flavors in the finish.
