Thanks to weeare138 for providing this one!

Poured a dark and cloudy brownish color with a small off white head. Some lacing left on the glass. Aromas of yeast, dark fruits with some spices. Tastes of dark fruits (prunes and dark cherries) and yeast. Full body.

Poured a murky brown color with a thin, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of dried fruits, spices, dried fruits, and yeast. Taste of more dried fruits, cherries, caramel malts, plums, light roasted malts, and some more yeast as well. I also noticed some rum in the taste.

Sampled (many times) at the NEBF. Actually this was the first beer I had at the fest, and I must say there were not very many other offerings that held up to this one.

Deep mahogany color, with an unrelenting head. I kept waiting for the head to settle but it never did, a very active beer.

Candied apple and caramel waft from this concoction. Considering the weather that day, this was an absolutely appropriate beer for the day.

Totally blown away by this beer. I tried many others from The Shed, not enough to accurately describe. Probably one of the smallest brewers at the fest, but one of the best.

Much thanks to grassrootsVT for this...
Appears a dark amber with a nice off-white head that never really fades out. Streaks of lacing are left along the interior of the glass.
Smell is of dark fruit, freshly baked bread, raisins, figs, as well as the classic Chimay yeast that bumps it up a notch in my opinion.
Taste is bready with sugary figs and raisins standing out, along with a nice maltiness that has a pleasant roasted nuttiness about it.
Mouthfeel is sugary, medium carbonation, bready, and very pleasant.
Drinkability is good. Very well done and the yeast is implemented nicely. The Shed has a winner with Shaun Hill. I expect to hear great things from him in the near future.

Pours from a hand-filled 22 oz. bottle into my meager cup, not big enough to fill the quantity of how much I'm actually wanting.

The color is to style, deep blood red with tones that pass between those of changing folliage. The head is low but lasting and pulls lines of lace down the glass as it empties.

The taste is incredible. I fine fine Belgian Abbaye. Can I say well balanced? Yes, and so does this beer. Just a nice fullness that doesn't overpower in any one way. A good alcohol presence to remind you of its strength, but also the deep earthy malt sweetness and spicy ending. Good dry hoppy follow through. Doesn't linger, but lasts.

A bottle conditioned beer that fills the mouth to all areas and leaves it clean but with memories. I will certainly look for this beer again, a perhaps one time offering from Vermonts - and perhaps the nations - most exciting young brewers.
