Yet another beer style that confuses me so I just put it in with rye beers. It's a Rye IPA supposedly.
This beer is amber colored and has no head when poured. Strong and hoppy with spicy hints of rye and a strong rye bite. Hops stick mostly in the background but it doesn't limit the impact they have on the beer overall.
Definitely a new twist on the classic IPA and something I'm not used to seeing but glad that I tried.
