The style for this wasn't listed so I was befuddled when the bartender told me.
Pours a dark black color with a thick brown head. Aroma is thick and malty with strong burnt coffee and subtle chocolate flavors. The taste is equally strong with the burnt coffee standing out the most and chocolate in the aftertaste. Roasty and smooth.
I could not find anything flawed about this beer. Perhaps with some aging in a bottle, it would be a treat down the road. You have to try this.
