Pours a dark brown color with a thick brown head. Aroma is malty and slightly roasty with some creaminess and coffee/chocolate in the nose. Taste is nice and creamy upfront with a smooth chocolate/coffee aftertaste. Toffee and even alcohol show through a bit in the aftertaste.
Overall, a very nice porter for a cold winter day and probably what a real porter should be.
