Another sample enjoyed on tap at the brewery in Stowe, VT. The pint was delivered to me a hazy gold with a true white head. Average lacing and retention. The aroma was bready, yeast and dry grains. The flavors were at first citric with lemon zest, but the yeast and wheat bread soon followed. The yeast gives the beer a depth and richness like healthy soil. Good mouthfeel and a light to medium body helps this one be very session worthy. I have to say, the Shed makes a damn good Ale.

New offering at The Shed. A Belgian Pale Ale made with Cascade hops.
A-Slightly hazy golden yellow with a medium bright white head that left decent lace.
S-Light biscuit malt and fruity, earthy Belgian yeast esters overlaid with a mild sharp citrus hop aroma.
T-An initial sharp citrus hop kick backed up well by biscuity malt and the unmistakable flavour of Belgian yeast.
M-Medium-light body with a sharp crisp finish. Lingering bitterness and earthiness from the hop/yeast combo.
D-Much better than I expected. This is a very nicely done Americo-Belgian style pale. Sharp and crisp with a pleasant earthiness.
