Poured a deep black hue with a one finger foamy tan head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a robust burnt grain with touches of dark chocolate and smoke.
The taste consisted of good coffee, smoke and chocolate elements, with a good cleansing astrigency at the finish.
The mouthfeel was of average fullness for the style.
Overall a good drinking porter.
