Off the nitro-tap at the brewery with my lovely, blue-haired lady friend this beer was a perfectly opaque black color. The one-finger of head was mocha colored, retained well and laced in sticky, torn curtains. The aroma was of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and dark caramel. The flavors were outstanding, rich and deep malt, milk chocolate, bittersweet chocolate, toffee, coffee and hints of wood. It was like a melted Swiss chocolate bars and a fine mocha! The body was full, the carbonation perfect (as one would expect off a nitro) and the mouthfeel smooth and full. An excellent brew and well worth it to anyone who enjoys a good beer especially a darker one.
