On tap at Arch Bridge the other night.
The beer pours a golden amber with good head retention and decent lacing. The nose is great and is all NW IPA. There's some dank, skunky weed, tropical fruit and light honey on the nose, and it's more of the same of the palate. This is really a nicely balanced IPA, with just the right amount of sweetness to counter the lovely bitterness I pick up on the finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, and frankly, I was surprised when I saw the 7% abv. (the alcohol really doesn't seem that high). The finish is bracingly crisp, clean and bitter.
Very nice IPA from Double Mountain and one of the better beers I've had from them in some time. Hopefully they'll make more of it...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
