Poured from a 32oz crowler into a dimpled mug; purchased at Special Brews in Lynnwood, WA.
Appearance: nice golden hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam. I think it's quite an attractive beer.
Smell: sweet, earthy and floral aroma with just a hint of citrusy fruitiness. Not bad, although the intensity is a little bit low.
Taste: mildly fruity with a nice somewhat citrusy flavor (bitter orange, and maybe a little tangerine); there's also a bit of a piney-ness here too that really works. It doesn't hit me over the head with flavors, and I think that's an advantage here; it's subtle but complex enough to be interesting. A good APA.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is a highly drinkable APA. I could see downing a few of these while sitting in the sun.
