This one pours a dark-ish clear orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like prickly acidity, sour peaches, oak, and light white wine.
The tartness isn't as strong as the nose would suggest. There's lots of macerated overripe juicy peach flavor, with a drying oak character, and a hint of white wine. There's a little bit of sharp cheesy Brett funk too.
This is light bodied, well carbonated, and crisp, with a slight lingering acidity on the back end of each sip.
This was highly enjoyable. Double Mountain sneakily makes some of the better wild ales on the West Coast.
