Clear golden color with long-lasting form in the nonic. There is a warm malt flavor that yields the brief sweet note. The mouthfeel is quite sudsy and prickly. I find the hop bitterness tastes like too much yeast to me. Hard to identify flavors, but overall it's balanced with malt and bitterness.

This is the textbook example of the Brut style. Bubbly, dry, yeasty, and distinctly different from the typical IPA. It's a little plain and mineral at the finish, with the bitter taste that lingers. I don't get much hop flavor from this, though. From the 500 ml bottle purchased in northwest Washington.

16oz bottle. Bottled on 1/1/19. poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear, light straw color with almost 2 inches of fluffy and rocky white head that had great retention and lacing.

Nice base grain scent, with some yeast spice & fruit, and some soft grassy and floral hops.

Pretty similar on the tongue, with some slight citrus bitterness on the finish.

The body is light, crisp, well carbonated, and has a dry finish.

Drinkability is pretty good, will grab again.

Overall, a very nice take on this developing style. Worth trying if you see it.
