Rated 6-9-2019. Another beer I don't really remember other than the name. I gave it a good rating and Simcoe hops give a good flavor profile, so drink away. 55 IBUs

Bottle from Boise Co-op. Pale golden with a light haze. Small, tight creamy cap. Aroma us malty, bready, grassy, pine. Taste feature hentle bready flavors, mild sweetness and a sliw building bitter finish. Super smotth, almost creamy.

16oz bottle, date unreadable, poured into 14oz teku. Poured a moderately cloudy orange-yellow color with over an inch of fluffy white head that had very good retention and lacing.
A big hit of dank/skunky hops hit the front of the nose with just light grains in the background.
Fairly similar on the tongue, musty hops and light malt, with a bit of citrus towards the back.
The body was smooth and even, with semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was OK, but, that skunk/musty/dank aspect got boring by the halfway point. Wouldn't drink two in a row.
Overall, a solidly pleasant enough brew. Depending on your attitude towards Simcoe, probably worth a shot.

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the IPA glass. Pleasant sudsy mouthfeel. Aroma of blackberry fruit, apricot, pine. Mild malt flavor. It's mostly about the hops, resiny, earthy, and a little funky.
I think this is a great showcase for Simcoe, a hop that doesn't get so much attention. The beer is not over-hopped but covers the range from aroma to final bitterness. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Haggen Market.

Straw gold with a slight haze, and spotty lacing white foam.
Pine and subtle peach. Actually, it's all quite timid.
Flavor follows with pine being first. Chalk too.
Light, bitter but not intense, kind of tingly and "hot".
Good beer from DM, but nothing to write home about.
Cheers
