Bottle from Boise Co-op. Golden body with a small white head. Aroma is light citrus with piney elements and malt. Taste comes in lightly dank, but still damn tasty. Caramel malts add a nice support. Smooth.

Clear amber brew with plenty of sticky foam in the ribbed IPA glass. Sudsy and lush in the mouth. Aroma is mildly herbal and piney. Resiny flavors and quite bitter. I struggle to find better descriptions of the taste than herbal and bitter.
Not much malty sweetness and the aftertaste is on the astringent side. This is fairly austere, though quite drinkable. From the 500 ml bottle ("refillable in Oregon") purchased at Haggen Market in Washington.

Barley Brown's teams up with Double Mountain, everyone wins. Classic pine and weed with a touch of citrus and melon juice, in a crisp and clean, creeping but restrained bitterness, bliss of a concoction. Cheers.
