Cloudy dark yellow body with a white ring. Oak based aromas of vanilla, brett, cherry, and hay make up a pleasant nose. Taste is more funky than nose let on, but in a constant yet soft manner. Lemon, big peach, and flowers join the foray, cherry shines through it all with some resistance. Oak is not clean or rustic, just kind of there. Slightly tart. Feel is shaped more by the brett and oak more than the fruit, tartness is light and playful, general elevated feel but breaks down a tad on the back end. Considering this has 2 years of age on it I would hope for a touch more complexity, but still a solid ale

This one pours a golden yellow-ish color, with very small and quickly disappearing head, and no lacing.
This smells like stone fruit, dried cherry, vanilla, kiwi, white wine, and oak.
This is one of the best beers I've had from Double Mountain so far - the extended time in oak has really helped this beer. It's got a sweet and earthy vanilla character from the oak, along with some typical oak spice, and a soft and buttery white wine character. The fruit character from these Rainier cherries is so killer, with light general cherry character, but lots of kiwi and peach and a sort of vague citrusy feel.
This is light bodied, clean, with a mild tartness, and a very soft mouthfeel.
This is highly enjoyable stuff. Double Mountain is very adept at fruited sours.
