An authentic Prague yeast provides the bready foundation to this lovely reddish pilsner. LRP marries generous amounts of Vienna and Munich malts with Yakima grown noble hops in the hopback to bring together the brewing worlds of the Pacific Northwest, Bavaria, and Bohemia.

Burnished copper with a thick white crown insistent on longevity, the Pils initially tosses out a faint, swampy smell. The smell evacuates quickly and doesn't intrude on the taste, which is restrained to the point of ambiguity but workable and ultimately not difficult to appreciate. A kick of drab bitterness curtails the finish, but this "red pilsner" is ultimately easy drinking on a hot July night.
