a new hazy from these guys, seems like they have been hitting boise hard with draft lately, love to see it, these guys are one of the best in the region and its great that have been sort of reborn here, maybe a distributor change. in any event, i love how fresh this is, how low alcohol, and how clean for the style, definitely the type of hazy i want to make a day of, a rarity for me with these. it looks like most of the others, not overly dense, a little muted in luster, heady from the tap, generic but appealing. it smells awesome, a little more of a citrus creaminess than a lot of these have, some white grape and vinous tones too, and a definite tropical rush, very dynamic as they go, even if its all or mostly dry hopping, it seems complete even without much bitterness. the flavor is about the same, very juicy and bright, it pops from start to finish with fruity hops but doesnt get green or harsh ever, and stays light in the feel, not even all that oily or anything, and clean on the ferment. super well refined overall, i wish more hazy types would have this focus on objective quality in addition to hop absurdity, both can exist in the same beer. maybe not the most unique hop complexion, but definitely stands out from the crowd anyway, and is drinkable and awesome, a beer i will be back for more of!
