Basically a version of the breweries Saison-wheat with cherries added, this brew is a pleasant surprise. Served in tulip glass. Poured a slightly hazy deep red with an inch of reddish off-white head that had great retention and good lacing.
The cherries were noticeable but not dominating in the scent, the yeasty funk definitely had the lead. The funk and the cherries balanced each other nicely on the tongue.
Body was pretty typical for the style. Drinkability was very good, I'd certainly have a couple of these in a row. Overall, a very nice beer, a must try if you see it, worthy of a road trip.
