Clear golden amber brew with plenty of foam in the Timmermans goblet. This is crisp as well as sweet to start, a nice combination with the massive hop bitterness lurking. I think it's too much of an overdose of hops to taste the alleged fresh hop character. But interesting and fruity. Quite aromatic with mango and lemon and grapefruit peel.
This is brewed with Trial 301 hops from Yakima Chief with the fresh hops processed like cryo hops. Supposed to preserve some of the fresh hop taste. Anyway, it's quite a mouthful of the mystery hop, and full of flavor with a sincerely bitter aftertaste. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Community Coop in Bellingham.
