Served in tulip at The Noble Fir, Seattle. Poured a golden straw yellow with 1/4 inch of white head that that had low retention and lace.
The aroma was a fairly typical example, muted grains supporting yeast and spices. The spice and yeast components were more defined on the tongue and the beer was sweeter than average for the style.
The body was a bit too full for the style and was a bit too sticky on the finish. Drinkability was good, although that stickiness affected the way I viewed it.
Overall, a decent, in not great, example.Hopefully they brew it more and tweak out the beer. Because I suspect it would become a favorite. Worth trying if you see it.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
