Clear pale amber with a nice white head, lots of tiny bubble rising up from the bottom of the glass; Fresh good beer smell; Nicely carbonated; mild pleasant flavor; An easy drinkin' beer.

It's labeled as an Amber lager now, which is blasphemous.

Look: Pale straw-yellow in color. Pours with a 1+ finger off-white head that dies down leaving a few remnants of foam on the surface of of the beer. Lots of medium bubbles visible from the carbonation. Looks like a very good quality commercial beer.
Smell: Light aroma of malt, grass and grain. Appealing.
Taste: Malt, mild hops with a grainy finish. Very nice for the style.
Feel: Mild fizzy sensation from the carbonation. Thinner body; but not too watery. Velvety feel. Mild dry finish yet still refreshing. Very Good for the style.
Overall: Very good pilsner. No wow-factor, but a solid example of the style. Very drinkable. Nice for a hot day when you want something lighter.

Back in the saddle again. Its been a long time since my last review but I'm at my parents'place in Key Largo, Florida and it's Easter and I'm not religious and a bit bored, so here we go.
It seems that Florida finally has a burgeoning craft beer scene. They sure took
their time but I'm glad they made it. This pours pale, almost ginger ale colored, with little head or excitement. Nose is almost nonexisistent. Maybe a touch of medicinial hoppiness and grass aroma but really faint.
Solid malt backbone here with surprisingly bitter aftertaste. Not a proper pilsner hop bitterness, but in the neigborhood. Kind of like Becks, with less taste andmore bitter aftertaste. Some complexity but the mouthfeel is thin and the balance just feels off overall.
This isn't terrible and shows some promise, it just really isn't there yet. I would try something else from these guys but this one is scarcely better than the European imports at two or three bucks pricier per sixer.
