A not very Scottish scotch ale. Looks good but the flavors and aroma are muted. It's malty and a bit earthy but neither stand out. Overall it's drinkable and approachable but just average.

On tap at the brewery taproom as "5.4%.
Reddish-amber body with excellent clarity and a durable off-white head.
Lots of sweet malts and toffee in the nose.
Flavor: About equally bitter and sweet with ample malt flavor. .
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with medium carbonation.
