Is this beer schizophrenic? What is the deal with that golden brown ale name? Anyways, the appearance has more to do with brown than it does golden. There is some dark red mixed up in the brown as well. Decent carbonation, about 1/2" of off white head. Aroma gave off some brown malt notes including wood, earth and hearth, but no dearth of brown notes.
Taste was smooth, I could see some old codgy dudes ranting about this stuff because its easy to drink and has nothing over the top. Total session stuff, put it in a cask and watch the nerds go nuts. Some caramel and toffee, but more wood and earth. Was one of the first Florida beers I ever had.

Malt forward brown ale with well rounded flavors. Mouthfeel is thicker then would expect just basing it off the look. Solid brown ale.
