The label says it is "Brewed and bottled for Big River Brewing Company by Florida Beer Company, Melbourne, FL." However, the beer is marketed as a product of Big River Brewing Company that is based at a microbrewery restaurant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with additional microbrewery restaurants by the same name in Nashville, Tennessee and Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
This is a very nice, highly drinkable pilsner. The label calls it a "European-style pilsner" but notes that it is brewed with German Pearle hops and Czech Saaz hops. The Saaz hops tend to dominate, and the beer drinks more like a Czech pilsner than its generally less-hoppy German counterparts. Nevertheless, the hops are a bit more subtle that many Czech pilsners, perhaps closer to the Slovakian pilsners. The bright golden color and modest white head are attractive. This brew puts off a gentle malty nose, and is malty with some hop flavor on the palate. A very nice mouthfeel, gentle carbonation, and slightly bitter finish make this a very refreshing beer.
