I was blown away by the nose of this beer. It took over the room with perfumes of chocolate, vanilla and other holiday spices. It had a nice head and offered a pretty good mouth feel that lasted for well over 10 seconds. It's not a heavy beer but I wouldn't drink two in a row. The sweetness would get to me. I would agree with the previous review about the alcohol not being present. Happy I have another one in the cellar.
Cheers!

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dark brown color ale with a quite large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of candi sugar and dry raisins and plums. Taste is a solid mix between some heavily Belgian malt with good level of residual sugar and notes of dry raisin and plums. Body is quite full with limited filtration and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Very nice take on a classic dark Belgian ale.
