Jimador, an unfiltered agave lager named in honor of Mexican Agave farmers. It is brewed with a traditional Vienna malt base with flaked maize added to the grain bill. The beer has the crisp, dry body that fans of Mexican style lagers will be used to enjoying. But the addition of the flaked maize and a massive amount of agave syrup give this refreshing beer an enjoyable underlying sweetness. A generous dose of New Zealand’s Wakatu hop shines through with its pronounced lime citrus notes, replacing the much reviled lime wedge in your beer.

Poured into a pilsner glass, the appearance was a semi-glossy yellow color with a sly transparency closer to the bottom of the glass. A finger and a half worth's of white foamy head slid off at a mild pace. Messy semi-foamy lace clung around the glass.
The aroma had some sweet corn, dry sweet cracker, a super light touch of lemon/lime, so smooth, crisp and fresh in it's respect to 'gather the waters' of lager aromatics ever so cleanly.
The flavor brings to the forefront a semi-dry cracker sweet character rolling into that light touch of lemon/lime crisp freshness. Mild aftertaste of cracker to lemon/lime character enhances my enjoyment of this beer.
The mouthfeel was light bodied with a superb sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine, somewhat low then a light stickiness clinging to my tongue. ABV felt appropriate. Light earthy hop spice in the finish.
Overall, what a mighty fine lager! Drinking this just makes me wonder why anyone drinks anything by annheuser busch anymore. For the ab sympathizer, open your mind, and you'll see ab is a hindrance to the beer economy.

Canned 4/27/18
Pours a mild fizzy foamy 1/2 finger head that fades at a med pace, a bit of bubbly lacing, fairly hazy lemon yellow color

Nose toasted straw bread dough malt, a little raw dough, touch lemony note and cereal, with a mild sweet agave like fruity syrup thing, touch of lemon lime

Taste brings toasted straw lager malts, big cereal grainy toasty, decent soft lager, bread dough, cracker biscuit and a bit over the top with it, fruity lager notes, more earthy fruity sweet like agave with a little heat on the back end, a bit of lemon lime zest as well, little bitterness, drier finish but a bit sticky, syrupy as well, bit more grassy bitterness and earthy agave

Mouth is med bod, a bit soft lager, decent but lighter carb

Overall OK but not great, OK lager at best, plenty of lager malts toasted straw cracker biscuit etc all over, agave was interesting, little heat and lemon lime notes, although wish those were more, and everything was a bit more crisp, and lemon lime agave were also a bit more prominent, and in general pretty meh

L — Pours a pale straw color with a finger of eggshell white head produced with moderately aerated pour. Some retention and lacing
S — Grains, lemon, skunk, touch of citric hops, doughty sweetness
T — Mostly standard grainy lager tastes, with a hint more grassy hop bitterness than normal. Not really noticing any differences by having agave as a fermentable sugar, other than maybe a slightly higher ABV
F — Crisp and refreshing. Definitely has some hop bite and some of the flavors lack clarity. Medium- mouthfeel, medium+ carb
O — Good for Cinco de Mayo! Otherwise not a brew I’d particularly recommend
