A Helles style lager. Quality Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich malts give the beer a very faint sweetness that drifts away quickly. Classic German Tettnang and Hallertau hops compliment with earthy notes. This beer pours a crystal clear golden straw. It is dry and refreshing, rounded out by spicy and floral notes.

Pours the slightest bit of a hazy golden straw color with a white head that provides some nice lacing. The nose is bready malt and spicy, grassy hops. Officially salivating.
The spicy grassy hop flavors have the lead on the taste, and are deliciously balanced by the bready malt flavors.
The crisp mouthfeel is on point. What a fantastic example of the style this is.

Smells like eggs if anything. Really no taste whatsoever. Almost like a flat pilsner. Mid feel

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short bright white head that left a thin collar around the edge of the glass and a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of floral hops are present in the nose along with notes of breads malts.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a bit stronger flavors of bready malts along with strong notes of floral hops. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this lager has a nice balance between the malts and hops and doesn't feel overly heavy on the palate.
Serving type: can

On tap at the Malted Barley Providence.
Deep gold in color with brilliant clarity and a decent sized bubbly white head that persists. Rich bready toasty malt with earthy floral hops to counter.

Very pretty clear golden color with a bone head and a malty aroma. For those who like German style lagers (like me) this is an honest swing at it with an American accent. The strong malt is the primary character with balancing but unobtrusive hops, good carbonation, and a clean finish. Everything is well balanced just a little louder than its German cousins. Quite gulpable and definitely a "Gimme another one" beer.

Crystal clear with a neutral golden color. Lasting white head which leaves extensive ring and streaky lace.
Grainy, raw barley smell blended with a very, very light malt. No notable hop. I get the faintest of raw mash aroma (slightly sour).
Thin bodied as expected with a clearly elevated carbonation level. The flavor is even more grainy than the smell indicates, but there's a solid hop bitterness in the finish. It remains a lawnmower beer, though--easily quaffable with a modicum of flavor. I applaud the decent level of hops.

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1+ finger ivory head that receded to a skim cap; very nice lacing;
S: light, sweet malt and grassy hops; a bit of spice;
T: follows the nose, although the balance leans toward the sweet malt; very mild bitterness at the end;
M: light bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: refreshing; OK for what it is;

Semi-cloudy straw color with a 2F head in a Pilsner glass.
Classic German malt aroma and taste, which was very pronounced.
Dry crisp finish.
I gave this an overall 4.25 because the approach to the style was genuine- tastes like a German beer- but stronger and deeper.
