Rising Road is our limited release barrel aged Irish Coffee Stout. Checking in at 9% ABV, this beer harnesses all the great flavors associated with an Irish Coffee and marries them together beautifully in a beer. Brewed with an Irish pale malt base, we added lactose and Demerara sugar for a smooth mouthfeel and slight sweetness. We aged the beer in @stranahans whiskey barrels adding Madagascar vanilla beans along the way. Finally, we blended the beer with an @speedwellcoffee cold brew blend of Brazilian and Guatemalan coffee - loaded with cacao and vanilla notes.
