Pours a dark brown with a tall foamy tan head with a lot of lacing.
Smells and tastes of toasted malt, coffee, chocolate and vanilla.
Medium body with light carbonation. Lightly ush syrupy mouthfeel.
This is a very pleasant sipper!

On tap at Three Penny Taproom in Montpelier, VT.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like vanilla, creamy milk chocolate, roasted malt, and a hint of lactose. There's not really much coffee on the nose.
There's a little bit more coffee on the nose, some roasty bitterness, some earthiness, but this is mostly a creamy sweet vanilla and chocolate stout. That's not even really a bad thing, I just really like coffee stout.
This is creamy, sweet, and rich, with no real booziness, and a very nice drinkability.
Even with the relative lack of coffee character here, I still enjoyed this - I just wanted a little bit more.

Dark chocolate color with a 4F head in a Stone RIS glass. Coffee and vanilla aroma, which transitions well to the taste.
Very smooth MF, unlike other stouts which sometimes have a thinner body and a sharper finish. The lactose adds a lot to the body and finish. Quite enjoyable.
