A hoppy red ale brewed with 100% malt sourced from local malt house Stone Path Malt in Wareham, MA. The beer was brewed in support of @pinkbootssociety . The Pink Boots Society was created to assist, inspire and encourage women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education. Embracing the PBS mission, Mayflower’s Brew Crew was joined by a talented group of women that included staff of Mayflower and local bars/restaurants, as well as local business owners. Members of this group helped to brew, dry hop, and package Little Red Riding Hop for your enjoyment. We will donate a portion of proceeds from both pint and packaged sales to Pink Boots Society. Little Red Riding Hop has a thin to medium body for easy drinking. The beer pours a light copper red. The aroma punches through with pine and citrus, particularly grapefruit. It has a slight sweetness and nice round malt profile, followed by a mild hop bitterness.
