Found on tap at the Grill Next Door in Haverhill, MA, this one looks clear and golden with a steady stream of bubblage, a sturdy white head and gorgeous lacing. The aroma brings some classic clove and grapefruit blendings. A touch of crisp grain in there for just what I had in mind for this style. The flavor offers a brisk cereal grain with a substantial carbonation that distracts slightly. I get the expected clove ideas and bready yeast flavors as well as it settles into a decent Belgian PA. It’s a little flowery sweet, but it works. Body is on the light side but reasonably so. Feel is abundantly effervescent, a bit too much so as I said earlier. This was a solid offering but when this style is right I just love it and this one left me wanting a really good one. Worth a try if you find one left standing.

A- A clear straw, very clean looking. Head is present but not huge(a result of the growler), lacing is impressive.

S- Belgian bubble-gum yeast, fruity, slight grassy notes.

T- Nice bubble-notes, fruity yeast, some citrus notes, clean grassy hops, nice sweetness from the malts. Very nice, slightly bitter with a yeast finish.

M- Carbonation is nice, clean, smooth.

O- Bummed that this is a one time beer. Very enjoyable, love the balance bewteen yeast, malts and hops. They all came to the party and no-one is out of control. Great beer.
