"Medium in body, this catch is perfectly balanced with a delicious malt character enhanced by a moderate addition of hops! This is Barret's personal design and a favorite among balanced amber drinkers! Have Another!!!"
Appears a pale copper amber hue with nice cream head wisps away leaving even lacing around my sample glass. Aromatics provide a healthy dose of American hops with mild pine and citrus tones built over a cracker toasty caramel malt profile. Flavor is upfront with the American hop bite citrus/pine combo with moderate balanced sweetness biscuit, caramel malts combine nicely with the moderate bitterness balanced and flavorful what a beautiful combo. Mouthfeel is medium bodied evenly carbonated smooth on the palate no astringent finish or feel left on the palate very clean. Drinkability, probably at of all the samples this ways as the session ale I would probably drink regularly if I had the opportunity to be a regular out in Monroeville, good solid hoppy amber ale.
