Review from notes taken yesterday at the brewpub.

"WARNING!! This stout will send you to the west coast without the 4 hour flight! The medium body pairs well with an aggressive roasted character matched only by a hop complexity you won’t forget!!"

This brew appears a very dark brown to almost black color with a severely dark tanned to brown head. The aroma of this brew is a mixture of coffee, burnt grains coming across a bit like chocolate and slightly sweet smelling with a touch of hops. The taste of this brew is all roasty grain bitterness upfront with coffee and a sweet dark grainy flavor that is left lingering in the mouth. This is a medium to full bodied brew with a light touch of carbonation. The aftertaste of this brew is mostly roasty dark chocolate malt. Super drinkable, smooth and very enjoyable offering from this brewpub.

From tap at Bocktown in Robinson. This is a very drinkable west coast stout. I enjoyed it because it was not over powering in any sense. The hop is well balanced!
