Notes from the brew pub: Single malt, Single hop!!! This beer is made exclusively with Maris Otter Pale malt and German Tettnang hops. Maris Otter malt is one of the finest base malts in the world and its subtle sweetness goes nicely with the Noble hop character of Tettnang. If you like pale ales you will love this slightly lighter version.
A: Pours a nice bright yellow/golden color. Provides a small white foam head that dissipates to a film.
S: Nice amount of spicy floral hops mixed with a nice amount of bready and caramel malts. Very light and clean.
T: Very well balanced beer. The floral hops and the subtle caramel malt blend nicely together. It is hoppy and sweet.
M: Leaves a slightly bitter yet sweet taste on the palate, quite pleasing.
D: This is a light refreshing pale ale. Easy to drink and although by definition not a session beer, I could enjoy many of these in a sitting.
