The Hefe that was on tap whilst I was there was a 6.7% ABV and it poured a golden color with no head or lace. The scent included banana, spicy clove, and just a touch of yeast. Starts off pretty sweet with fresh ripe banana's then rounds to a distinct spicy clove, very distinct, then finishes with a touch of wheat and mild yeast. Light to medium. Found it very easy to drink. Overall it was ok.

"The banana and clove flavor dominating this beer comes from a special German strain of yeast used in fermentation. With a medium body and a burst full of flavor this pint will make you happy SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!!! "

A - Pours a murky brown with a half inch of white fluffy head.

S - Perfect smells of banana, spicy clove, and just a touch of yeast.

T - Starts off pretty sweet with fresh ripe banana's then rounds to a distinct spicy clove, very distinct, then finishes with a touch of wheat and mild yeast.

M - Light to medium. Found it very easy to drink.

Overall one of the best Hefeweizens I have had in a while. Side by side with Spaten version I would prefer this one more. Very spiced, very banana, and with a solid wheat base. I will be sure to be back for a growler fill!
