This one has a fairly thick hoppy bitterness with some slightly spicy tones that are overshadowed by an earthy tone. This is quite hoppy and bitter, in a pale ale kinda way. Which makes it more one dimensional than I personally can appreciate. Well, the problem may be that I tried the Sorachi Ace before this one and found it to be quite superior, as far as my drinking pleasure is concerned.
