"This might be the craziest thing we have ever done! We lagered this medium bodied bock to %70 attenuation and then re-pitched a Belgian strain of yeast to end ferment. This process along with some acidulated malt delivers an aggressively malty beer with a very tart finish. We then aged it on caramel to round out the flavor….ENJOY! "

Ok so it seems this beer was unintentionally infected and brought back to life with caramel (or caramel malt)

A - Pours a dark well caramel brown with no head to speak of. Like dead calm with no carbonation bubbles. Nothing.
S - Smells like Brett has taken over but is well hidden with caramel goodness.
T - Not as sour as expected but still cloying puckering tart mixed with the most artificial tasting caramel I ever tasted like they just dumped a bunch of extra into the mix to hide their mistake.
M - Definitely could use more carbonation a very tart, flat tasting, artificial mess.
Overall skip this one if you go to the pub. I believe this is the first time I ever truly hated anything they put out. I guess selling it is easier than dumping the batch.
