Came in a mug a dark brown color with a tan head that died quick.

Smell was almost non existant, tinny maybe. Taste was mostly just sour and tinny very week.

Mouthfeel is very light, almost no carbonation, sourness slackens after it warms. OK, brown but just ordinary and plain.

The aroma is weak and watery with no character but some toasted malt. The appearance is brown with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall this is not that good. I would probably drink it again but not one I would recommend as a good brown ale.

Run of the mill brown, had at the brewpub. Medium mouthfeel, high carbonation. Sweet, fruity but sour. Some white lace on the brown body. Was not getting coffee, but rather some astringency. Is tis an attempt to make it stouty?Save yourself for the seasonals.

Barracuda Brown came to the table served in a mug, it was dark brown with almost no head. The aroma was malty. The flavor was nice, some nuttiness, but more in the way of coffee and chocolate notes. This is definitely one of their best beers. Certainly worth a try.

I think they change the brown’s now and then for a different take. Still the best I had this fine spring day. I could easily make this my favorite at a very enjoyable brewpub.

A very nice opaque brown, topped off by a foamy 1” tan head. Subtle notes of chocolate in the aroma, and the quaff? Top of the line combination of powdery malt, chocolate and little hints of coffee. Almost reached a dry stout level. Gimme another, please.
