Captain's Pilsner was served to me in a mug, it's appearance was amber with no noticeable head. The aroma had a touch of spicy hops to it. The flavor is nice, this beer is definitely to style, spicy hops with a mild malt background. Not bad, definitely worth a try.

Poured on-tap at Charlie and Jake's, this beer was served in a pint glass. The beer is a bright, vibrant honey-gold coloring that is crystal clear, with no trace of head. Very light scents of toasted malt aromas. The beer has a tangy sweet flavor, with a bitterness that has an astringent quality to it. Slight sour flavor into the aftertaste, with an almost tart characteristic, also. Puckers the mouth. The beer is very round bodied for the flavors and the style.
