Drank at the brewpub, the beer is served in a standard pint. It is dark copper with just a skim of a beige head. Just a tad of lacing.
It has the mildest of noses. I get some caramel and malts and a hint of plum.
The taste is slightly sweet. It is very mild with lightly toasted malts a bit of hard candy and light bitterness in the finish.
Granted the winters are mild in Jacksonville, but does the beer have to follow suit?
The mouth is barely adequate. One and done for me
