This is the River City Summer Seasonal and it was just tapped. The waitress described it as being as "like Blue Moon". Served in a standard pint, the beer is a hazy gold with a thin ring of foam. They serve it with an orange slice on the rim.
The aroma is light grains and a hint of orange.
The taste is very light. Grass, a bit of hay and a smidgen of citrus. Blue Moon has nothing to worry about. Coriander and other spices are MIA. Improves a bit 1/3 through with a bit more taste and character pushing through. This late surge moves the taste to average.
The mouth is crisp and is the best part of the beer.
Easy to drink, but needs more flavor.
