River city brewing pale ale draft.
A dark red, very little head, actually there was no head at all, just a little lace around the outside rim. 3
S Malt and a little hop Aroma. Would have liked more hop aroma, especially since the description really talked it up. Disappointed. 3
T There was OK malt flavor, but not much, and the hop flavor was weak. Again expecting a bolder hop flavor. A little phenolic flavor also. 3
M Thin, low carbonation. 2.5
D Drinkable, but could have been so much better. No off flavors, so it is brewed clean, just lacks character. Needs more malt and hop essence. The red ale looked exactly the same and tasted the same except for a slight hop edge for the pale ale. 3

This pale ale was very dark in colour, almost amber and cloudy. Aroma had a slight yeast quality to it. The body was full and the crown when poured was two fingers high disapating to a large island lace and big time glass cling as the brew was consumed.
Slight hop bitterness to the taste which remained in the after taste.....Very crisp and fresh offering....
