Draft at the Florida Brewer’s Guild 06 Beerfest.

Aroma is so heavy with nutmegs and spice you think you will be getting a pumpkin beer for sure. Cloudy yeloow body holds a lazy, wispy white head. Fore tastes of bannana cream pie and gobs of nutmeg, mace and clove. Yeasty, creamy and just amazing feeling palate with a satisfying creamy finish. At the fest you are given green tickets to hand in for the beer you liked the most and the brewer with the most tickets gets the People’s Choice Award. I don’t know if they won, but they got my ticket. Far and away the most intensely flavorful beer at the fest (not counting Michigan’s Jolly Pumpkin beers) and I could find hide nor hair of the 7.2% alcohol this claims to have so it masks it well with allt hat spice. Not an everyday beer by any means, but as a winter treat (on a 77 degree day in Florida) it is very tasty.
