This last ale I enjoyed here was a Winter Seasonal and the last of it! Got very lucky to have had the opportunity to drink this beer they said. Like all ales here, poured into a Pint glass and reviewed while enjoying.
Appearance- Dark Tan/Yellow color, 1/2 a finger of head, and head left quite a thick amount of head.
Smell- The aroma is extremely sweet, has bready malts, huge amount of alcohol scent, and some type of lemon or citrus notes in the background.
Taste- There is a biscuits and gravy (minus the gravy) taste with a very malty finish. Clean, fresh, and toasty!
Mouthfeel- Medium Bodied, moderate carbonation, and Thick. Can taste it for minutes afterwards! Not sure if I like this or not...
Drinkability- Even though this beer's ABV is 8%, it wasn't very noticeable! Not a beer I would really go to or recommend but tasty on this rainy day. Lacing has pretty damn amazing, an art form from this beer I say!
Am looking forward to visiting this Brewery again!
See ya next year!
