Had this one at a Triangle Brewing tap takeover. The guy said that it's one of their sixth anniversary limited release brews. Moreover, this one has proven so popular that it is the only anniversary release that they've brewed multiple batches of.
The beer itself is a nice cloudy brown color with major lacing and a quickly diminishing head. It has a fantastic banana smell with a hint of vanilla and some other spice that I can't put my finger on. The taste is incredibly smooth with some banana and clove but lacks the "hook" or complexity that I was expecting. It's not bad, just a bit more thin and non-descript then maybe it should be. Very smooth and reasonable, I'm a fan and will definitely be trying this one again.
