On tap at the brewpub.
The appearance was a murky to hazy sort of yellow color with a cap of a little white semi-foamy head that slid off immediately. There wasn't any lace.
The aroma had some semi-juicy sweet to bitter lemon to orange pulpiness flowing into a semi-sweet crackling Belgian yeasty spiciness. Just a pinch of white pepper stapled it's zing in at the end.
The flavor presented a fine blend of that spicy content rubbing noses with that sweet pulpiness to create a fine blend all around. Not much of an aftertaste, but somewhat that zing of the spicy portion of the yeast snapping together with that citrus ever so lightly.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine, somewhat refined. ABV felt just a touch under than what was projected. Semi-smooth transition in the finish with that spiciness pretty low.
Overall, as a Belgian IPA, I'd say it works and would be one that I'd come back to.
