On tap at Albany Pump Station in Albany, NY.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like cinnamon dusted chocolate bars, with a nice roasty aroma, milk chocolate, and light vanilla.

This is surprisingly well done. The cinnamon and chocolate are the dominant "adjuncts" here. The cinnamon is done really, really well- it's easy to overdo it and have an overspiced disaster. It adds a dusty spice to the big fudgy base here. The vanilla adds a touch of very light sweetness. This is very well balanced.

I'm surprised at how thick the body on this one is- it's significant, with a nice creaminess. There's a good level of drinkability here, with a typical lower stout carbonation level.

This was honestly excellent- I am very impressed by it.

Crowler, yes, C.H. Evans is doing crowlers now! Isn't that exciting! Hells to the yeahs!
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a fairly thick dark brown close to black color with a small eggshell white foamy head sliding off at a decent pace. Slight sticky and semi-filmy glaze of lace roaming around the glass.
The aroma had an absolutely wonderful blend of cinnamon - sweet and spicy playing with a nice moderate roasty to sweet coffee backed up by milk chocolate and a touch of dark chocolate nibs.
The flavor yields towards a keen blend of spicy cinnamon melding with it's sweet side and milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Mellow aftertaste of milk chocolate, cinnamon and coffee
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Due to the cinnamon, there's a tickle of harshness but it's definitely not burdensome, just noticeable. Carbonation felt spot on. ABV seemed just as the brewer suggested. Semi-cinnamon/spicy/dry earthy sort of finish.
Overall, to me, it's an absolutely fantastic American imperial stout well worthy to have again preferably when it feels 20 degrees outside.
