A-Clear ruby, not much carbonation, one finger head

S-Caramel malt, yeast and bread notes

T-Caramel, roasted malt, no bitterness. Nothing else

M-Thin, watery, not much carbonation

O-A boring beer that doesn't bring much to the table, on the bright side there is nothing off putting either.

got this one on tap i had heard good things from the bartender so decided to give it a shot

something wrong with the head here it basically appeared flat

the aroma was off, it had smelled like stale green apples and also had a bit of vinegar there what is going on?

taste followed up more of the same it appears this batch was just off

mouthfeel was light but that tangy feeling came through too this one just did not jive with me

overall an average beer at best but nothing like the kickazz brown they have even though this is essentially the lager brown their ale is simply so much better

A: Brown color with ruby highlights. Minimal brownish head.

S: Little sweetness. Very bready. Touch of caramel. Touch of chocolate. The complexity of malt comes through wonderfully in the nose.

T: Crisp grain. Very fresh. Touch of sweetness. Little toffee but it never got sweet. Bready.

M: A touch on the heavy side of medium. Nice carbonation. Crisp on the tongue.

D: Very nice example of the style. Very enjoyable. No wonder it placed at the world beer cup.
