Finally getting around to adding this one.
A: A deep copper color with some purple in it. A little bit of white head with a touch of lacing. The weird thing is how clear the normal tripel is. While it was a little bit purplish it did darken it up quite a bit.
S:The blueberries are there but not overwhelming. Think LeBleau level of fruit. The sweetness from them comes through clear though. A little bit estery. I would have like a little bit more of the fruit in the nose.
T: Tastes more like the normal tripel. While the normal version hides the ABV quite well this was a little bit boozy at the end and warming. You get more the sweetness than a distinctive blueberry taste.
M: Medium bodied. The carbonation was prickly but well done.
D: I had a flute and that was enough. This was a nice treat while it was on last summer. I hope this one gets made again.
