Had this with lunch today at the pump station.
Poured into a 12oz goblet.
A: Typical jet black RIS appearance with a finger of tan head.
S: Tons of roasted malt. Some hints of chocolate.
T: Really nice for an RIS. More roasted than some other examples I have had lately. On the simpler side but still very flavorful.
M: Thicker side of a medium body. Not very syrupy or anything along those lines. A little thin for the style.
D: Very drinkable for the style however. Not the best choice to pair with my burger but still a great beer. The low ABV for the stout helps.
